Terms and conditions
A 50% deposit is required to secure your photo-shoot. The remaining 50% will have to be paid before the photoshoot takes place. The funds can be either transferred online (details will be provided at request) or paid cash to the photographer. Cheques are also accepted; however, the funds have to clear before the date of the photoshoot.
It is the clients’ responsibility to ensure they arrive promptly and at the correct location for the photoshoot. I would suggest that you arrive a few minutes earlier, so we can discuss arrangements and any questions you may have before the photo-shoot commences. The photo-shoot will start promptly and any lost time due to your lateness won’t be replaced and your session will end at the agreed time.
The client shall assist and cooperate with the photographer in obtaining the desired photographs, including but not limited to, specifying person(s) and or scenes to be photographed: taking time to pose for photographs at the photographer’s direction; etc.
Client shall reimburse the Photographer for any damages caused by clients’ negligence to the props or photography equipment.
The photo editing will take between 7-14 days, so you will receive your photos within this time-frame. If there are any delays due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be informed as soon as possible. No compensation will be paid for any delays.
The client will receive their digital photos via a secure online gallery unless agreed otherwise.
A Secured Online Gallery will require a password selected by the client. The photographer will not disclose this password to any other parties than the person who booked the photoshoot. The password change can be requested at any time to ensure the gallery remains safe. Lucia Dickson Photography takes no responsibility in damages caused by sharing the password by the client to the unwanted parties.
The photographer retains copyright of the photographs, and hereby grants the client unlimited but non-exclusive rights to use or reproduce photographs for which the client pays. The Photographer may use the photographs without the client's name for any lawful purpose, such as publicity, illustration or advertising.
The Photographer will keep the images for 2 years from the date of the Photo-shoot, so the client can obtain additional prints if required.
In the unlikely occurrence of an illness or injury that prevents the Photographer from photographing your event/shoot, the photographer will promptly inform you of this, and depending on your decision at the time either: make alternative arrangements or refund the paid amount in full and cancel the photoshoot.
The photographer is not liable for any injuries sustained at the photoshoot. The photographer takes no responsibilities for any lost or damaged personal items at the photoshoot. The client is responsible for their and their party’s wellbeing at the photoshoot.
The photographer is not liable for colouring errors, print quality or cropping of any images not produced directly by Lucia Dickson photography.
